Meeting Statement
On 29th September 2025, the Refugees for Prosperity (RFP) team held a meeting with officers from Catholic Relief Services (CRS), including Ms. Stella, ma Lainey at the CRS Head Office in Kampala.
This was the first official meeting between RFP and CRS, where both organizations shared information about their respective activities and objectives. The RFP delegation, led by Acting Executive Director and Program Coordinator, Mr. Mohamed Abdirahman Yusuf, provided an overview of the organization’s work. The CRS representatives also highlighted the humanitarian role of CRS in Uganda and globally.
Discussions focused on identifying areas of collaboration and exploring how RFP and CRS can jointly support refugee communities in Uganda. Both parties expressed a strong commitment to continue engagements and build meaningful cooperation.
Going forward, RFP and CRS will continue sharing activities and reinforcing collaboration through regular engagements. RFP also extended an open invitation to CRS leadership and representatives to visit its office in Bulange Zone A, Prof. Apallo Nsibambi Road, Kampala, as a step toward strengthening this partnership.
