On July 10, 2025, Refugees for Prosperity joined fellow Refugee-Led Organizations (RLOs) for a key multi-stakeholder session organized under the Re:BUiLD program—a regional initiative supporting urban refugees and vulnerable host communities in Kampala and Nairobi.
The session aimed to address persistent barriers refugees face in obtaining essential documentation—vital for accessing employment, education, healthcare, and financial services. Convened under Re:BUiLD’s Influence & Adoption Pillar, the dialogue centered on sharing grassroots perspectives and proposing evidence-based, systems-level solutions to improve refugee access to documentation.

Our General Managing Director, Abdirashid Haibe Abdi, was present to represent RFP and contribute to this important policy-shaping conversation.
